Not everyone’s brain works the same—and that’s not a problem.
I’ve never been diagnosed with ADHD or anything like it.
But I’ve built a company with people who have.
I’ve worked beside brilliance that didn’t show up in straight lines.
And I’ve watched my wife, Marci, navigate a world that wasn’t built for how her brain works—with patience, power, and a lot of Post-Its.
The systems we’re sold around productivity? Most of them are designed for neurotypical people with 9–5 routines, no caregiving duties, and minimal interruptions.
That’s not my life.
That’s not my team’s life.
And if you’re reading this, I’m guessing it might not be yours either.
Productivity, redefined (not optimized)
I used to think productivity meant clearing my to-do list.
Now I think it means: Did I make progress without burning out?
